The e2w slowly ride, which will be open to machines under 200 cc and over 25 years old (although anything suitably slow can be used), will be from Lowestoft to St Davids, starting on the longest day which is 21st June and arriving in St Davids the following day, arriving in time for sunset at 9:22 pm. There will be an overnight stop in the region of Great Malvern (near to where I live). (Details of B&B etc options will follow.)
As with E2E slowly, e2w slowly shares the aim to show that you don’t have to go fast to go far! Get out those MZs, BSA Bantams, Triumph Tiger Cubs, LE Velocettes, Honda 90s etc. They’re all more than capable of covering the distance with ease.
Depending on numbers taking part there will be gatherings at Lowestoft and at the finish in St Davids. We will endeavour to get the mayors in each location to see us off/welcome us and try to secure maximum press and local radio/TV publicity.
Details can be accessed at http://www.rospa.com/about/currentcampaigns/drivewaysafety.
And as with E2ESlowly, I will be striking a commemorative medal for those who complete e2w slowly successfully.
